With our new computer technology we can show you what the finished product will look like before you ever leave the store. What is a Giclee Anyway?Giclee (gee-clay) is a French word meaning to squirt or spray. The process involves squirting microscopic dots of ink onto a fine quality paper or canvas. These unique jets are able to vary the width of the ink stream to as small as 1/100 the width of a human hair. It is this capability that gives the giclee its beauty. Giclee is considered the world's best technique for reproducing original works of art. The giclee process begins by inputting a scan of the original painting to create a digital file. After the scan the resulting file will be entered into the computer where the file must be color balanced to match the original artwork. Each piece is produced one at a time. Most or our artwork at THE GALLERY is produced by this Giclee process. Stop by to see the latest in fine art Giclee's.
Art Placement:
Using the "Modern Gallery" approach for picture hanging one would stand centered in front of a piece of artwork, then take two small steps to either side to determine the center for the next piece. This method of spacing works well in hallways, lobbies and restaurants.
Fun Finder: Museum of Flight
Looking for something to do on these rainy and cold days, this is a real experience. If you have never been to the Museum of Flight or haven't been in a while this is a great time to go. The museum is now featuring a very fascinating exhibit on space flight and has recently added a new wing dedicated to WW1 and WW2 aircraft. What a great job they have done in restoration and display. There are hundreds of aircraft that you just won't see anywhere else, and the great news is it's all under cover dry and warm (except you will have a short walk outdoors to see the British Airways Concorde and Air Force One that are down the block - you get to go inside both of these). For more information go to www.museumofflight.org. To get there from THE GALLERY take I-5 North 50.3 miles merge onto WA-599 N Exit 156, go 1.7 miles to Tukwila Int'l Blvd north exit, .3 mile merge onto Pacific Hwy S, go .06 miles to E. Marginal Way S end at the Museum of Flight. Remember to take your camera (and bring in those pictures for framing) to THE GALLERY. |

Finale's work on canvas is heartwarming and peacefully enchanting. His distinctive style is a colorful blend of impressionistic romance and realistic beauty. His paintings transport you to a time and place of private charm, a haven of pure and quiet delight.
